The MatRushes are useful plants for the landscape particularly near water features. They prevent soil erosion colonising sediments in the river. They prefer a shaded position but will tolerate some sun.
A hardy, drought tolerant Lomandra. The most distinctive feature of Blue Ridge is its powder blue leaves. New seasons leaves are a beautiful powder blue which darken to green as they mature. Prefers free draining soils and will tolerate dry sandy soil conditions. Frost Tolerant.

Tufty grass-like plant with dark green stems is found near the coast from Rockhampton to Sydney. Golden Yellow flowers in clusters from August to November. Beautiful rockerie plant. Requires sun or dappled shade and hardy in most well-drained soils.
